Mit dem VSP lassen sich Schubstärke und Schubrichtung stufenlos und bedarfsgerecht einstellen. Eine Kreisscheibe mit beweglichen und steuerbare Schaufeln, die in einem 90-Grad-Winkel zur Scheibe installiert sind, rotieren am Behälterboden. Die Schubkraft wird durch die Drehzahl der Scheibe bestimmt; der Klingenwinkel bestimmt die Richtung von Schub. Ein perfektes Antriebssystem für präzises Manövrieren auch unter widrigen Bedingungen.
