The less the animals are exposed to the weather conditions, the calmer they will arrive at their destination. No outside influences, but a calm ride is what you want to go for.
Requirements for transporting livestock
In order to transport livestock properly, there are certain requirements that your truck must meet. First, you must obviously hold a large driver's license because you will be driving a truck. If you are transporting livestock for longer than 8 hours, you will need a so-called VLD certificate (Transport of Livestock) that is valid for five years.
