Iveco Stralis Tractor Units

Iveco Stralis 

The Iveco Stralis is a heavy truck whose production of the first series started in 2002 by the Italian manufacturer Iveco. It replaced the EuroStar and EuroTech models and was made in the range from 19 to 44 tons.  

Different generations of Iveco Stralis 

The 1st generation Stralis was released in 2002. Over the years, the range was updated to include the Stralis II series (2007) and the Stralis Hi-Way series (2012). The Stralis range is equipped with different Cursor engines (internal combustion engine).  

• The Stralis I (2002) : equipped with 3 different Cursor engines with power ranging from 400 to 540 hp.  
• The Stralis II (2007) : the Stralis undergoes a number of changes from its predecessor. The cab becomes different, the engine more powerful and at the same time more economical.  
• The Stralis Hi-Way (2012): in the interest of sustainability, the Stralis Hi-Way is released. The Stralis Hi-Way is offered with engines that meet the requirements of EURO 5 and EURO 6 standards, 8 Diesel versions (ranging from 310 to 560hp) and three CNG versions (ranging from 270 to 330hp). This series is available with an axle configuration of 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 and has 3 different cab models.  
• Standard and XP version (2016): this 3rd generation has many features of its predecessor Stralis Hi-Way. With this series, fuel economy has been improved. The XP version of this Stralis is specially designed for long-distance transportation.  
• The Stralis NP and Natural Power (2016): The Stralis NP is offered with three different engines, 2 LPG versions (400 or 460 hp), and a CNG version. The Stralis NP is the first CNG (Compressed natural gas) truck that can be used for both urban and long-distance driving. The truck is 15% more fuel efficient and emits 90% less particulate matter and 60 less NOx than the diesel version. This series is offered in 3 different cab models.
